I generally give my friends the things i have bought them when I see them. I would wait till you get to the room though to give your driver his pressie. I generally buy things like t-shirts for friends, maybe you could give your girl friends make up, nail polish or earrings? I was just going through some stuff and found a Jag wallet i have never used so I am going to give that to a sweet girl over there with a pic of my family in it and a bit of money. If it's friends parents we take something with Aus on it, like coffee mugs or a nice plate. The guys seem to like things we don't use any more, like cameras, phones etc.
