We stayed for a total of 14nights at the bounty hotel JL. Poppies 2 Kuta very good hotel I could not fault this place at all, very clean, buffet breakfast was unreal, a very young persons hotel very good service all around the pools were great as well as the swim up bars were nice, only down fall which isn't too bad was the hassles you got once you left the hotel you can survive just annoying sometimes. Once we got off the plane the heat hit me like a bag of bricks I just started to sweat hard VOA took about 1hr + I think about 4 planes had landed at once we got stuffed around at Sydney airport meant to take under 1hr took 1hr + there also, after VOA it was ok at Denpasar just watch out of the porters just say no aggressively we had out transfers waiting out the front which was great top tour driver. Make sure you have 25US I saw many people have troubles cause they didn't have US only AUD. It was Myself 20YR and my friend 25YR
As far as night life there it is very safe of course you have your people offering you jiggy jig, drugs etc.. Just say no if you don't do it simple didn't see no gangs or anything there for me to be afraid or anything I can look after my self if so.
Clubs we went to Double Six was ok after 3am, Paddy's full of Aussies was always rocking after 11ish, bounty ship was ok few locals not so packed the foam party was grouse, and also a mad club is mbargo that was mad fun there, also went to liquid and fuel, few others also around seminyak and Kuta.
Jungle Juice is a killer

We had our fun cause we are young with some massages give them extra tip small amount for a banana hand not all ladies done this we had our fun with jiggy jig also clean ladies thanks to our tour driver, and no we are not desparate we done it cause we can and its cheap for anyone thinking these were done is tuban and Denpasar areas.
Went to the Green Garden Spa very good place started off with a ice cold face towel, nice orange juice, then you jump into the spa for a while, then sauna and swim in the pool for about 1hr or so, then your taken to you room we got the royal Bali for him get a small massage full body, foot massage in rose pedal water then onto a warm stone massage very nice some stones too hot mad us jump after that you head to get a pedicure, your hair washed, massaged then aloe Vera into you head its great all up around 3-4hrs.
Activities we done were.
ATV Quad bikes - Paddy's adventure tour very good tour few rivers you cross, very muddy since it rained the day before hand, and you cruise threw the rice fields and mountain terrain the bikes are very powerful 350cc mine had a car muffler on it sounded beefy.
White water rafting - telga waja river (nice land slide which happened there recently) very good here also, river is at a medium pace nice views watch out for the 3m drop at the end you also stop over half way to view a waterfall and take photos, sorry I have forgotten the price of this all I know it was 60% off we go from the rrp.
Water bomb park - was unreal place from memory there is about 5-6 water slides swim up pool bar its quite a big place very fun here food is very expensive here though also the lazy river is defiantly a must do.
Kitanmi volcano Tour - took us threw a lot of villages and UBUD to the monkey forest they are great a bit aggressive if you try and take there bananas from them! The volcano is a nice view over looking everything having a buffet lunch no problems with the food very nice had a few plates(...). On the way back we saw cock fighting that was unreal had a few bets I won once! (...) Stayed there for about 2hrs or so, had to leave saw many corrupted police come and undercover they just get tipped off and leave.
Tabanna village - very nice here we had a walk around it was our drivers home village he introduced us to many of his friends and girls(...).
Denpasar, Sanur nothing special just a lot of locals and markets.
Tour drive took us to his local gym in Denpasar god no air con or fans I nearly died cost us 10000RP
Went to Hammerheads Gym not bad the Aerobics are a nice view per session it cost 30000RP
Lake Batur very nice here I think they call it Lake Mountain also? There is about 3 lakes within this drive and you can feed the monkeys on the side of the road make sure you buy some peanuts before hand or you get stung $$ a lot when your there, once we reached Lake Batur we had all entry etc.. Paid for got our pictures taken with mongoose, big snake python, iguana also paid him 20000RP for as many photos are you like.
We also went to see Wood Carvings and Sterling Silver Carvings I bought some stuff for home at the wood carvers just chop them 60% of the asked price you can haggle at both of these places, on the way there we also saw Barong Dance very good.
Done water sports at Benoa much cheaper than Nusa Dua, we done here jet skis, banana boat, parasailing I think it cost us 60AUS I think don't hold me to it, jet skis very fast 750cc.
Went to Tanah lot temple very good here it was low tide we could cross over also got Blessed here also gave a small donation, the hawkers here a less aggressive.
Downsides of Bali:
Got bacteria poising for 3days not good had the doctor come lucky it was raining for them 3days straight was ok though I think total it cost inc the doctors call and medication 350000RP.
Kuta beach you just can't relax here they see a white person and you get hammered.
Could have been a bit more sun and less over cast but that's what you get for going at the tail end of wet season
The fact that when you don't want something they mutter something under there breathe I would like to know what they say.
Nothing else really I had a wicked holiday it was my first time we stayed for 14nights best holiday by far spent about $1600AUD inc all the tours restraunts beer shopping food shopping I came back with $0 lucky I had $50AUD saved for excess baggage. Next time we go we are going to stay at different places and go for 3weeks not just stay in Kuta I think if we didn't do our tours and see a lot of Bali I don't think we would have had such a great time, it was a very big eye opener to see how much we live like kings, very big culture shock for me, being haggle is there only way to make money they don't know anything else. I do feel sorry for the ladies working the rice terraces carrying 40KG + rice bags very hard workers the Balinese.
Restraunts we eat at:
TJ's - Mexican food ok bit pricy only went once
Raja's - very cheap indo and nice food here they isn't tight on there food either
Koris - very nice here food is A Class the price is ok we eat in the aircon roomed waited for our food drinking some bintangs playing pool felt like a king.
Jimbaran Bay - well what can I say? The food and sceneries speaks for it self.
Macaroni club - nice food here again the price is pretty cheap compared to others.
Pizza Hut - different but pricy
Bubba Gumps - very nice food and a bit expensive on the pocket shrimps galore
Mykanos Tavern - Being Greek Orthodox I loved it price was fine, nothing beats my old ladies cooking though (...) this was in Seminyak

Also had a little run away from the police they wanted us to pull over dicks away we went bit of a adrenalin rush there.
That's all I can remember we arrived back Friday morning in Melbourne I am already planning my second trip to go soon I love the place they say you either love it or hate it I have fallen in love with the culture there way of live the villages the Balinese girls, everything is legal there I couldn't live there due to the wage but defiantly got there for long holidays I felt like a king the currency for $100AUD exchange 7300000RP which is a lot of money to hold first day we had over 1 mil felt like a million air when a meal cost you 30000RP $3- 4? So cheap we left there at and the rate was 7300RP at Kodak shops very good we changed out money at the illegal ones a few times just beware they try and speak to you when the money is being counted tell them to shut up and we talk after we do the money, funny enough I went a few times to change $200 AUD rate of 7400RP at no commission, so the first $100 was ok they showed me a different price on the calculator, just say no I want what is shown out the front be aggressive with them, double count your money they are CROOKS, the other $100 they had in there hands they both looked at each others and said just before they handed it over sorry we need more money few times I got dicked around and just took my AUS and left the shop if you don't feel comfortable just leave!.
Back at work now very depressed have the Bali Blues don't want to be here (...) all I can do is live with it and save for the next trip I had a wonderful time I have about 200+ photos taken I will post them up as soon as I shrink them give me some time.
This is my first JBR hope you like it I might have forgotten few things we done we eat prices this is what I can recall.
