I do a lot of cycling here on the Gold Coast and this ride is not really hard at all. The hill people are talking about is up yes but if you have the correct seat and stem height you will ride it better. Sit on the bike with someone holding it up for you and put the heal of your foot on the centre of the peddel when it is straight down. This will give you a slightly bent knee when you put the ball of your foot on the peddel. Get the stem height the same as the seat. You will be useing all of your quads instead the calf muscels. This makes for a very easy ride. When you get to the hill use the gears to make it easy. Use the inside chain ring on the front and the inside of the cluster at the back to make it easy. This is a very good trip.
