We have been in contact with Carry for Kids via their website which lists all the Balinese orphanages www.carryforkids.org.au (I think) & also Yayuk. They were very helpful in advise what is useful and what is not. My workmates pooled together and we collected 2 bags of good quality clothing and money so that we can do a shop over there for things like antiseptic, head and stomach medications, They didn't mention food, but I'm a mum so obviously I feel the need to do some grocery shoping!
Air Paradise have allowed us 10kilos each extra baggage to get the clothing across which is extremely generous.
We fly out tomorrow and the orphanage visit (Miftahul in Singaraja) is set for Sunday - can't wait! - Happy Travels!
