The word Warung means small local shop. but most Tourists take it to mean eating place, in reality a warung can sell many things in uk we are apt to call them corner shops and cafe's if the word Warung is followed by another word it usually means that is what they sell, Like Warung Nasi means they sell rice, Warung Wartel means they have public Phones for making phone calls
