Where to do first shop for food etc?

I cant go to Makro as it quite clearly states no kids allowed (no I wont leave kids with driver - too paranoid of a mum I am :-).

Which other supermarket etc are best for usual snacks, coke, shampoo's, butter etc?

We are staying up in Kerobokan at the Bali Ayu, but am happy to go into Kuta for my first "foody" shop.

Name of supermarket and street would be such a huge help!
