AP is faily good with excess baggage compared with Garuda. Feb this year my wife and I were 55.5kg and were not charged excess. 6 months before wife went with her girlfriend and had 52kg with Garuda and it cost them $180AUD. That was after they got them down from 425AUD. There is an unofficial rumour that AP will allow you to go to 25kg Per person without hassels but rumours are just that. It all depends on how full the plane is.
