visa application is for? If it is a few weeks then your letter & bank details, or income info etc is enough along with passport photocopies, letter of invitation & stating what you will be offering/providing, if it's for a longer (yet still short stay visa) he may have to prove that he has a reason to return to Bali, like a job, family etc & also his account details, unfortunately they decide on the day what they need so the more you can provide etc the better.
