Flew out of Vancouver 3 weeks ago. We were unable to reserve our seats but went to the airport in Van early and got fairly good seats towards the front of the plane. The seating was 2-4-2 so we had two seats to ourselves. HKG to DPS we had to again select seats at check in and we had 3 seats for the two of us. and the same back to HKG. Because we had to overnight in HKG and our flight back to Van left within 24 hours of arrival, we were able to book our luggage right thru to Van from Bali which saved us time and we did not have to drag our luggage in HKG. So when we checked in for return from HKG to Van we were able to bypass those with check in luggage. However since our seats werent reserved my wife and I did not have seats together until after we booarded the plane and had swotched seats with other passengers who also wer not seated together. It is worht taking a small pillow or head support with you which we did on the way baack from HKG.Service was good ...you need to ask for hard liquor drinks but they give you all you want.
