We just returned from Bali for the 4th time, but this time we took our 19 month old. We also traveled Garuda, and it was fine. I took formula, which she wasnt drinking at home at the time, but it came in really handy in the mornings as we could mix it in our room amd try to get 1/2 an hours more sleep, and I also purchased long life milk over there. I took her own food wrapped in bubble pack in our suitcase, which I'm glad, as when I'd run out she hated the baby food available in Bali. I feed her weetbix, toast and fruit for breakfast and we discovered Bali Deli in Seminyak which stocked cans of pasta, heinz food and more weetbix. Worth the trip for lunch and to keep our bubs tastebuds happy. We took our own pram because we knew she would fall asleep comfortably in it at the airport, out for dinner or just around the resort at night. We didnt venture out too much on the streets with it, as it was a mission. Along the front strip near the beach was fine with a pram or the beach itself on low tide.Oh and the pram came in handy as a high chair if we wanted to feed her in our room. The aircon in the rooms knocked her around a bit and gave her a grand old rainbow dribbling nose for the duration of our stay, but she loved it Bali and even learnt some language! Bring your own nappies if you can. I found the ones there she would leak through at night. I saw huggies for sale at the bali deli if you run out.
