yes boys and girls, im affraid you have missed out on you chance to join "Bali Rally 2005", that is of course just the cars not the "Pit Girls"
After due deliberation, a rather pissie BBQ and a game of FOOTY with cracker we have selected the participants on merrit and previous drinking ability.
The names of the drivers, and the colour of their jimnys will be published on www.balirally.com soon as will the final itinerary, but for all you spectators her is quick summary.
Tuesday 14th June. Scruteneering of those, soon to be famous machines at "Bali Cyber Cafe Legian" from sunset. A chance to meet those speed kings of Bali and view the high powered Jimnys up close and of course enjoy a Bintang or two while watching Cracker try to reverse his bus out of the carpark.
Wednesday 15th , after a hearty breakfast we are off..... to Negara.. with a couple of minor stops on the way....Kodak moments....rehydration.....and a little look around befor car one driven by Andretti (me) crosses the finish line first. Night over in Negara with presentations for the silliest stuff up of the day, a game of beach footy, drinks and a big night.
Thursday to Lovina Via all points west to Gilimanuk and through to the "Rambutan" in Lovina where Andretti and car one will take the stage victory and celibrate with much libations and sillyness, More presentations and stories of high speed chicken near misses ....except for Andretti ....he doesnt miss.
Friday ...mountain section through Badugul to the "Puchung Indah" for a night over and a huge swaray, so dam big it cant fit on this page....Huge.
Saturday.....late start.....barrocca....espresso.....panadol ..and back to Lovina for a thrilling finnish and a win by car one back at "Bali Cyber Cafe" where Andretti and the Navigator will accept the pepetual trophy...again.
We will try to keep all of the spectators (electronic) up to date along the way as best we can, so stay tuned.
