Sorry to hear you were not happy there.I wish you had talked to the new owners if they were around.They very much welcome constructive criticism.They are 2 lovely young English guys I met late last year.They know very well what a dive most people considered the place before they took over & are trying to work very hard to improve things.
I had been turned right off the place because of reports on Filo's sight but decided to give it a try.Late last year I was hanging around the outside on my own very carefully studying the menu & looking inside.I was noticed & one of the young English guys & he came outside to talk to me,so I introduced myself.I was straightforward ,as I always am .
I told him I had received rather negative reports on the place.He asked us to come for dinner that night & make up our own mind - YES we did pay ourselves & NO I am not a travel agent or anything like that !
We ended up going back there for dinner on 2 nights that trip & we were very impressed with the food,service & cleanliness.All I will say is the food was wonderful,staff & service friendly & speedy & the place was great.The only problems was the toliets & area outside really needed doing up.When the owners came up to us & asked had we enjoyed ourselves I commented on this & they said this was next on their list.
