Gilli Islands

We are coming to beautiful Bali again in June/July. We want to go to the Gilli Islands and Komodo Island.

Can someone tell me how to get to each of these places and what accomodation options there are.

Do the pearls sold on the beach near Double SIx road in Seminyak come from the Gilli Islands? If so where in the Gilli Islands and are there any particular instructions required to get there?

Any other hints or suggestions?
