earthquakes - anyone have information

Hi everyone,
I received a very disturbing sms from a friend who lives in Padang - West Sumatra. She told me that she and her family are now living in tents in higher ground due to earthquakes. There is a fear that a mountain may errupt too.(She did not mention which mountain). Does anyone have any other information on this as I am finding it difficult to find out more information?
