Unless you buy the paste & add boiling water, if we are out this is the Recipe we use!
a small lump of butter then add a chopped onion & teaspoon of crushed garlic. Cook so onion softens we add a teaspoon or 2 of chilli powder or Sambal oelek (Chilli paste) but add to your taste! Then I add about 3 heaped spoons of Peanut Butter we have used smooth & crunchy so whatever you like or have in cupboard. Stirring & add about 2 or so (to your taste) of curry powder & stir it will be quite thick, then I add 1/2 to 1 cup of water a dash of ketchup manis & a pinch of salt & pepper mix in well & let it simmer until it is the consistensy you prefer!
We take this to BBQ's & it will seperate but then we zap it in microwave & mix it together again....
We tend to use this for alot of meats & had it with Chilli jam on Swordfish steaks on Easter Sunday to die for!!!!
