Tragedy is, we've got a character running around the place whose act would frighten the poor b** crocs into submission - wouldn't need a knife! Did a Michael Jackson "kid over the balcony" act with his baby in the croc. pen a few years ago.
We have a Canadian in our family & he reckons it's pretty hard getting the skates to work on the beach! He's teaching at one of our best boys' schools so gawd 'elp us - we'll probably end up with a bunch of Canut clones (LOL)as the little buggers all seem to think he walks on water!
There's a very funny book, "They're a weird mob" by Nino Colutta (Calotta?), an Italian guy who migrated here in the '50's. It's a great read & an insight into how someone who came here with (virtuallly) no English came to grips with us & our lingo.
Enjoy Bali - make sure you head down to S & S (Sammy & Suzie's) "bar" on the beach at Legian/Kuta to catch up with some of the Aussies when you're there.
