the 3 of us absolutely loved the MBR & in 7 years it was one of my husband's favourite places.He says he definately wants to go back another time.Bad luck you were stuck there & had no choice for fodd for Nypei Day.
Granted we never eat in our hotels restaurants at night,we are too busy being out & about.We are not into big smorgasbord breakfasts though,I just think they may be too much of a risk & that is anywhere.Even in Oz we do not go to Smorgasbord places,I even worry here about how long the food has been out & how fresh it may be.At breakfast time at the MBR the 3 of us would have juice from the machine,tea or coffee from the stand,toast which was freshly popped from the toaster by the man standing at it.I took my own vegemite as I have during over 20 years of OS travel -just in case it's not around <LOL> I just can't travel without it.We would also sometimes have the freshly cooked eggs ,either scambled,fried or omlettes but they had just been cooked.
As Judd says the staff were quite nice,the pools & our old style family suite room was absolutely fantastic.The garden & grounds were very well kept & maintained & the location is brilliant.Wewill definately be going back.
