I have been wearing lenses for 25 years and I never have to worry about taking them out in the pool or surf. Just make sure you dont open your eyes under water as they will full out. I have never lost one....
Only suggestion is take eye drops as sometimes the humidity makes them dry...enjoy the freedom of contacts..
