We left Kuta at 1pm, drove around through Nusa Dua, had lunch at Geger Beach, had a look at Dreamland beach then walked down and around Uluwatu temple and monkeys then walked around GWK. I think you could easily spend a couple of hours there, view the gi-normous Garuda and Wisna statues, the amphitheatres, gardens and grounds. We organised our trip around having dinner at the DiMeMedi restaurant as the sunset over the west. The views over Benoa Harbour, airport and Kuta Beach are glorious.
You could also fit it in with dinner at Jimbaran Bay, seafood at sunset. The Jimbaran Bay fish market is interesting to explore too, early morning to early afternoon.
