We are in Bali now - at the Legian Beach Hotel.
We stayed there (Madira) in Dec / Jan.
This was our second stay there - 1st time was 1984 (honeymoon) !
Stayed for 3 weeks, all very nice.
Breakfast was good, accommodation was very good (we had a Deluxe room next to the Suites, close to the pools).
We stayed on the previous 2 trips at the Legian Beach Hotel "LBH" (which is next door to the Mandira). There is not a lot of difference between the 2 really - both have 2 pools (1 at the Mandira is elevated), yet the LBH has a swim up bar. The Mandira has a nice bar near the lower pool.
The LBH has bigger rooms (at the same price level).
