is to open an account here in Aussie, with ANZ or Commonwealth. You can use your debit card in Bali, there is a fee of 5,000rp per withdrawl, (less than a dollar) and ur money is safe 100% of the time. If you are in Bali & need money in that account, someone here can deposit cleared funds (cash) directly at any branch and the funds are available about 10 to 20 mins later. Our daughter has 2 cards, and leaves one with her B/F when she is in Aussie & he is in Bali. He can access the account whenever he needs to.. and she can control it by how much she deposits!
