Had a thorough look around here late last year when I was staying at Swastika over the road - looked very nice, clean reas sized rooms, single level motel style but Balinese furnishings, porch with table and chairs etc, Pretty med sized pool surrounded by level grass and gardens, private and screened from the beach and passers-by but not much shade so the pool was in full sun all day .. direct access to the beach on one side and shops on the other, good location. Nice restaurant and large air-con lobby with internet room and sofas , newspapers etc. There were only a few guests at the time . The Manager seemed very pleasant. The price was about $40 US on the net, but he slipped me a card and said much less could be negotiated
All round, I would be happy to stay here, and prob will next time
Sorry not personally familiar with Puri Kelapa, its in the brochures and looks nice , but think I remember a post not long ago saying it was looking dingy and needed a good clean, but could be mistaken, maybe someone else remembers
