You will find that airlines flying the same model plane all have about the same leg room in "cattle class". We flew Garuda Business class last year and did not think it was worth the extra money. We are flying AP this year and we know the flight home will be trying to say the least. I even investigated whether going Singapore would be better, but the travel agent said you had to fly to Singapore in the evening and they flew back to Australia overnight too, but I thing they have increased the number of flights, so things might have changed. Just steel yourself to believe that it is for 5 or 6 hours and then it is all over. I sympathise with you, but I am afraid they all seem to fly back overnight.
