From what I could see, the ground floor has single beds in them and the upstairs rooms have big double bed. Rooms are very big and have a good size verandah. Make sure you get a refurbished room . We stayed in 2003 and only half of the rooms were done so surely by now they would have finished them. The reception staff are a little quite to start with but after they see you coming and going they warm up. Tour lady is very nice. All the staff down on the beachfront(pool and bar and restaurant are the best and very friendly)Rocky looks after the pool,Sars is the seller for the massage centre owned by the hotel, Romeo and Charlie are the two barman and Rambo is the resident beach dog(poor thing wasn't looking too good last year when I visited him with his smackos). I didn't enjoy the buffet breakfast but you wouldn't starve. Loved the pool and the beach area. Found drinks were dear especially for a three star and telling them if prices were lower they would get more sales. The hotel is in a good sport close to the only honest money changer PT Kuta Central at the Kodak Shop opposite Club Bali Mirage. Plenty of good cheap restaurants and cabs are going pass all the time for when you want to go into Kuta or elsewhere. The gold cabs are Balinese owned. Do a search on the area under Villa Bintang, Grand Mirage, Novotel and Aston and you will get good info on the area.
