There are a number of boats operating specifically for surf trips. My 19 year old son and 3 mates went on Partama last October. Surf was fairly average (towards the end of the season - best April to Sept) but they had a great time and will probably go again sometime in the future. I'd been to Bali in July and was able to check it out for them. The young woman in the office (Komang)was very helpful (and speaks very good English). There is an Australian based contact as well.
