I have just got back from Bali and just wanted to warn people about the dangers of drink spiking.
I was in Double 6 nightclub with friends last week having a great time and all of a sudden I was overcome with a strange feeling. For the next hour or so I was completely dazed and confused, couldn't keep my head up, had difficulty breathing and seeing. Someone had put something in my drink.
We bought a drink for ourselves and also to a man we were talking to. We are not sure when the spiking occured but the guy who took our order was speaking in indo to the man we were talking too and we think it might have been then that it happened.
Now I'm not saying this happens all the time and I don't want to give Bali a bad name in any way as this sort of thing can happen anywhere. Just wanted to let people know to be careful with your drinks when your out.
Luckily I had my husband and friends too look after me as if I was alone I would have been in big trouble.
