airport at 4pm. We stayed at RB Sept 04. and had 6pm flight too. We just checked out of our room at 12pm then spent 3 hrs in and around pool and poolside cafe. We kept what we wanted to wear on plane in our hand luggage so need to access big bags again. There are toilets, showers and towels at pool area.
Alternatively you could go and do some last minute shopping and/or have a long last meal. Choosing a special restaurant for this will make it something to look forward to.
You've been given another day in paradise by having a late flight. Don't waste it in a hotel room. One trip we stayed in Ubud with 10pm flight out. Solution - check out, walk into town, have lunch, have spa, drive to Jimbaran for dinner then to airport. Hubby was SO JEALOUS (I went with the girls) when I hopped into bed at 3am with sand still on my feet!
Have not heard of a hotel or driver that will not store your luggage for a few hours.
