Sure, some will ask for an incredible "tip"! However when necessary I use the porters and I have "tipped" anything from 10,000 to 25,000rp depending on my available stock of local cash. I don't feel that is at all unreasonable as I have to pay about that for the "privilege" of just shoving my own trolley at my home airport.
