There are lots of ATMS in Lombok, but pretty much only in either Senggigi or Mataram/Chakra. There are several in Senggigi in the main street - however my advice is to try to use only the ones that are actually outside a bank - just in case you have a problem with it dispensing the correct cash.
Not sure if there is an ATM on the Kuta side, probably would be in Praya though? if anyone knows...
Have you tried the website below for lots of information about Lombok? Posters there could probably answer specific questions for you.
