Hi Leonie, I don't know the exact cost but all I know it was a little bit more expensive than using a wartel phone.
I used to send SMS a lot home because that was as cheap as chips and to message my daughter in Bali saying where are you!!!
So it is very handy to have. The only bad thing about it is you don't seem to keep track of how long you have been on the phone whereas in the little booths, they have the timers.
