but here are my two cents worth of information in nutshell.you will pay around $A15.00 to $A20.00 per gram.which is actually the wholesale price of gold.and that is all you are going to pay for.basically the workmanship in making the rings,bracelets,earings is free.BOTTOM LINE YOU CANT'LOSE.we had our purchases tested in australia and as mic says the percentage of gold is pretty accurate.the mark up on gold products in australia is 3 times the price in bali.eg gold braclet we bought cost $A400.00 had valued here at $A1,200.00.here is the bad news.if you have to sell your ring or whatever piece you bought in bali you will only get the wholesale price of gold in australia which would be the $400.00 that we paid for bracelet in bali.thats if you took bracelet to pawn shop or antique dealer.they simply weigh gold and work out todays price and thats what you get. then they put there markup on it.
