go "budget". After a similar type stay at Rama Beach "resort" a few weeks back I know exactly where you are coming from Mark. I got what I paid for in terms of limited services, no views and plain decor and I have no problem at all with that. Politeness and helpfulness costs nothing Ezza. In my case I found the staff bordering on arrogant (seemed to be a real preference towards German/Japanese guests) and things like urine over the loo on arrival - well there is a certain standard of cleanliness that I expect from even a two or three star. I bet you wouldn't apply the same principles to all the budget buys you purchase (whether it be retail, food, massages etc). If you continually encountered arrogance with these people I bet you would have something to say.
