The gold in Bali is usually 22 carat. It is sold in most jewellery shops and there is one street in Denpasar that is called gold street that all drivers know about. It is cheaper that in Australia as the labour costs are a lot less. The actual gold is priced the same per ounce as anywhere else in the world. They have beautiful pieces some very intricate. I usually buy my gold in Australia when the jewllery shops have their 50% off sales. Hope this helps
