I know exactly how you felt re the poor little monkeys, (some people hate them, but I absolutely adore them).
A few years back I got involved in a mini brawl over a gorgeous little monkey that lives at the Three Brothers Hotel. It hadn't had food or water for 3 days, and I couldn't stand it any longer, so I confronted the front desk staff staff and their security guard, asking if they could feed and water the little thing. After much heated discussion my request was carried out.John ended up dragging me away
