The standard rooms are ok and quit nice now (Have seen one last year). However these are located around the lotus pond just after the Lobby. The superior rooms are further back around the Pool. So they are a little bit closer to the pool and pool-bar.
I always have a package-deal with my travelagent and it always includes a superior room.
