is about 40 mins ride. The "guides" are all from Sumatra and the one we had came over with his elephant 12 yrs ago. They are very helpful and will stop whenever you ask to take photos cos it is very hard to focus up there lol.
We went with our drivers both times to Kintamani - you can't get that close from the road, but we really just stopped to take pics then on the second trip we went to lunch there after the elephant park. The view is fantastic and the kids thought that the lava was running down the side, but it was just fresh dirt from a probable land slip lol
