I get a burning scalp from some shampoos, so tend to take some from home that is 'safe' for me. Also take Earl Grey teabags for breakfast as we do like our creature comforts, the hand-cleaning gel, and a mini first aid kit with things like sticking plasters, flu tablets, canestan, antibiotic cream and anti-histamine tablets. I take Imodium too, but prefer to use the local remedy if I think I may have 'bali belly'. Waterproof sticking plasters are a good idea as they are harder to find there, and wearing sandals again in winter means the odd blister as soft feet adjust. I also take tampons as they are expensive there. Best thing I take each time is the clip-on spiral-stretchy cord that I attach from my purse to my shoulder bag. Then no way can I accidently put down my purse when examining goods and leave it behind, or have it 'lifted'.
