My memory of HRH is pretty good for wheelchair access. There are a few stairs on the side access but from the front it would be not bad. The foyer may have a couple but I'm sure that wheelchair access has been thought about and after the foyer its pretty much one level with lifts between the floors.
We are staying from 13 till 22 April. A good tip if interested is to prebook a pool cabana via e-mail (at 120000Rp per day for two daybeds / chairs, fan, drinks waiter and right over the pool - it is a great way to spend the time). If you want to do this email Arya Sitiari (the pool and spa man) at ari@hardrockhotels.net - we have booked No.26 for the whole stay.
I'm not too concerned any longer about HRH - I have emailed them heaps and they have always replied promtly. I think the policy is if the room is not clean, then get it cleaned by their staff or request a change of room - don't let it spoil your experience.
