We went over to paradise last year with our 6 and 8 year old boys and after a day of the markets we told the boys not to point or say I want because that made them a target but if they discreetly say I like that then we could look and the shop owners left the boys alone . After a little while the kids get used to saying "No thank you " Probably easier than grown ups cause we know how much these people rely on the tourist trade .
