I have just returned from 10 nights. Their economy is so bad at the moment I guess they will do almost anything to make a sale. And yes it really does get you down after a while. But I just tried to be friendly, told them no means no, and kept walking. I did not allow them to touch me or physically stop me. If they tried I just turned around and looked them in the eye and said enough is enough. Normally this worked. Most are very friendly and jovial. one guy when I said NO called out as I passed him that I had dropped something. When I stopped looked back and asked what I had dropped he replied "Your smile". Of course I had to have a laugh with him over that one. All in all though it was fun.
