I wondered about raspberry jam, so bought the very same jam last week ready for our trip to Bali in June (so that I didn't forget about it), but wasn't sure whether the cooking process would destroy whatever it was that prevented BB. Thought we'd give it a try anyway, however had still planned to take some raspberry juice with us. We have always hunted around to find cordial to take to Bali with at least some % of raspberry juice in it, and I think one of the Berri ones had about 1% (or was it 5%? - can't remember, but I know it wasn't high). None of us have been sick so far.
We went to Thailand last year and took Raspberry and Cranberry juice (I think the brand was Seaspray), which had a reasonably high %. The drawback was that it was not concentrated and came in a glass bottle, so I decanted it into a couple of 'Pump' brand waterbottles, wrapped them in freezer bags and hoped they didn't leak. They didn't and we drank about quarter/third of a glass each day. We also took a some juice boxes that had 1% raspberry juice, and that saw us through the last 3 or 4 days. No tummy upsets, so don't know if we were lucky, or the juice worked yet again.
