...dressing with a Melolin strip already in place. They are waterproof (e.g.showering) but I doubt they would withstand swimming. At the hospital we use Tegaderms when we cut ourselves - after washing our hands a couple of times water leaks through. If this happens the dressing should be removed, otherwise it becomes a wonderful breeding ground for bacteria.

If you've had success swimming with them on, then I'd really like to know. Cheers Vicki
