We stayed at KBC a few years back. It doesn't look much from the out side but the gardens inside are lovely and peaceful. 2 pools, restaurant was fine, cheap, staff friendly & helpful. It's very centrally located, a short walk to the arts market, beach, WaterBom Park, Mata Hari etc. My daughter loved hanging out at the pool ordering ice cream and drinks, it was hard to drag her away. Our room was really inexpensive so we were not surprised that it wasn't too glam, but it was spacious, clean etc I checked out the other rooms and they were much nicer.
We had a lovely driver from out front by the name of Billy - if he's still there, he is a good choice.
We are heading back next month, can't wait. Have a fabulous time.
