Second, no I wouldn't recommend using the hotel as the wedding agent. Some hotels are good, but they are hotels. I'd use the experts - seriously. If the couple getting married have never been married before, are not concerned what words are used in their service, and come from a straight-forward country in relations to obtaining a Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage, it is easier, but can still get messed up.
When you start adding different ingredients to the mix - like wanting to write vows, etc, then this can be messy.
I do feel strongly about this after being married in Indonesia myself, watching people trying to do it to various degrees of success when I worked at the Aust. C-G, and finally as a wedding organiser.
