don't know why they need visa and passport details. Some advice on credit cards, have a second card for the internet with a low limit (say $500) if the ammount is much more, transfer the extra into the account for that transaction only. Then the most you can lose is the $500. Hope this helps others who worry about being ripped off if you have a $10,000 or $20,000 limit.
