VOA/60-90days for yanks ez to get????

I really need advice as I have called the consulate to no avail, all I read tells you about the sponsor visa I don't have one-
I will be therew/2 kids for 38 days
My son will be there 80 days.
I did not realise they changed the visa terms
Any help would be appriciated .
