My extensions were pretty long, and my hair is pretty long too, so that meant a lot of unplaiting. You cut them just below where your real hair finishes and unplait them. It takes longer than it takes to have them done - it took over five hours to undo mine, with help. Not for the impatient! You have to do it without tugging as your hair will rip out.
