Just staying the 2 nights. I heard back from Tegal Sari last night and they have made a reservation for me for those 2 nights in a deluxe room. Rp350,000 per night (which includes high season surcharge). So I'm happy with that.
I'm booked in to do the Casa Luna cooking class on August 16.
BTW, HMGH got back to me and they do have a room available for Rp350,000 (+15%) but it's doesn't seem nearly as good value as the Tegal Sari room for the same price.
I'm also a bit put off by their sales tactics at HMGH. I tried booking the Rp300K room - they were all booked out, and they tried to sell me the Rp500K room instead. It wasn't till I asked specifically that they told me a Rp350K room was an option.
