If you know where you want to go/stay in Ubud, I don't think it would be difficut to get transport, actually, I can recommend good transport if you're interested. I trust him to pick me up every trip to Bali, you can email me if you'd like his handphone number.
He is a family man, has a good transport business, and speaks very good English, a driver you'd enjoy....honest
Ubud will be pretty quiet that time of night, Seminyak,Legian,& Kuta will still be busy that time of night...for that may be a consideration for that time of night.and your mood.
