I put it down to leaving my sister who lives in Sydney, I in Perth. Had family reunion in Bali. I felt quite pathetic. Glad to hear I'm not the only sook.
You are so excited for SO LONG, then a couple of weeks and its all over! Have been through this with EVERY holiday to all sorts of places. I now start to get a little down before we even go because I know how flat I'll feel when I return home.
We live for travel and every spare cent is put towards it. That doesn't help either - all that hard work for so long and its gone in a couple of weeks! That's why I research a destination to death - make sure I get my money's worth. Some will say its a waist of money, but that is OUR priority. I want to go to my death bed like Da Vinci - not afraid to die because I did evrything I wanted to do.
